We deliver scoped engagements. If you need a full-time platform engineer, hire one — we’ll help define the role.
Compliance certifications
We build systems that pass audits. We don’t run the audit process. Pair us with a SOC 2 / ISO firm.
“Digital transformation”
We do specific, measurable engineering work. If a pitch deck calls it transformation, that’s a different consultancy.

Quick answers to what most teams ask before booking a call.
How long is a typical engagement?
Most engagements run 4 to 12 weeks with a fixed scope and fixed price. We pick a duration before we start so there are no surprise invoices later.
Do you work with our existing cloud, or do we have to switch?
We work with whichever cloud you’re already on. We’re fluent in AWS, Azure, and GCP, and we don’t take vendor referral fees — so if your cloud is wrong for you, we’ll tell you.
How fast can you start?
Usually within 2 to 3 weeks of the first call. Faster if it’s urgent and we have capacity that week.
What does handover look like?
Written architecture docs, architecture decision records (ADRs) for every meaningful decision, runbooks for the top failure modes, and a recorded walkthrough. We’re also available for a paid check-in 30 days after the engagement ends.
Do you offer ongoing support after the engagement?
Yes. We can stay on a fractional retainer for follow-up work, or you can call us back later for scoped one-off projects. See our post on fractional vs full-time for how to think about it.
What don’t you do?
We don’t do open-ended staff augmentation, run compliance audits, or sell “digital transformation” programmes. For those, we’ll refer you to someone better suited.
